Hunter’s Codex exists for one reason: Monster Hunter Wilds asks you to farm, and farming the wrong monster costs you an evening. Decide what you want to build, and the answer to “what do I hunt next” should take a second, not twenty minutes of cross-referencing.
What it does for you
Pick a weapon, an armor piece or a full set. From there you get the whole upgrade path, every material it needs added together, and the monsters that carry them — grouped so you can see which single hunt moves you furthest.
The site answers the one-off question. The app carries the plan: it remembers what you are building, counts what you already hold, names the next hunt, and updates the moment you log one. Start something here and it opens there with the same target.

The app
Everything on this site is free and stays free. The app adds the parts that only make sense when they follow you: a goal that persists, material counts you update after each hunt, and the next hunt worked out from what you still need. It runs offline, so it works on the sofa with the game in front of you.
The guide, the map, manual builds and the damage calculator are free in the app too. Guided goals and automatic build search are a one-time unlock, not a subscription.
